Bidra med feedbackI absolutely adore this cafe and its sister, River View. The staff is so friendly and the food is excellent. The only thing that bothers me is the low-quality cutlery they use. It really takes away from the overall dining experience. I would highly recommend investing in some higher-quality utensils because your food deserves it.
Good tea coffee in an historic church location. Visited at elevenses time when it wasn't too crowded. Rather cramped and crowded at lunchtime, so reluctantly gave it a miss. Good value.
We decided to stop by this restaurant because it is much more charming than the large chain coffee shops. Located in what appears to be the vestry of a church, it is a small place, but filled with character, featuring an old and gorgeous fireplace, intricately carved wood, and stained glass. The coffee is outstanding and I highly recommend treating yourself to a warm scone with jam and clotted cream. The service is both polite and friendly, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
I stumbled upon this lovely cafe located in a beautiful church with numerous fascinating stained glass windows. My dining companions and I ordered a salmon cream cheese bagel, bacon avocado chilli jam sandwich, as well as a tea and latte. The food and beverages were scrumptious and arrived promptly, accompanied by a delightful salad with a tasty dressing. The staff were polite, courteous, and attentive. Unfortunately, during our meal, we witnessed another customer behaving rudely and obnoxiously towards the staff. Despite this, the employees handled the situation with respect and professionalism. I will definitely return on my next trip to Shrewsbury.
A great place for excellent coffee and lunch, a gem of a place surrounded by history . Great friendly service.
