Bidra med feedbackVisited the restaurant for the first time for the overpriced afternoon cream tea. My wife having tea and me latte at 30p. Drinks were hot and good. The scones were large and delicious but would have been better on the day they were made. Slicing the scones in two was impossible, ending up with a mound of crumbs and fruit which resulted in a cream and jam mess all over fingers. The cream was, at first, frozen solid as was the wrapped butter. No sugar on the table, one member of staff said they're on the tables but were really sweeteners, another staff member then pointed to a distant side table for sugars etc. Staff were helpful and friendly but seemingly poorly informed and managed.
Ripoff food Hall greedy.£30 for 2 bugetts 1 small ships 2 drinks .rip off. Ripoff .greedy. small bugetts not happy. Never again, never again
The food and drink are fine if a bit expensive. However the experience of eating here is spoilt by the number of people who insist on bringing their dogs into an area where people are eating. It’s a zoo!
The food here used to be excellent and affordable. Sunday roast was the worst meal I have ever paid. I had one roast beef and 2 kids roasts with drinks that came to nearly £50! Roast beef was very hard and dry with a Aunt Bessie Yorkshire pudding and microwaved bowl of frozen veg for £15. Kids said there school diners are better and that's saying something. I will not be spending a penny at this garden centre ever again which is a same as it used to be good.
I ordered broccoli and Stilton soup, the waiter brought it over and spilt some of the soup on the bread, didn't offer to change it and just served it. Soup was awful and Bland. My son had a burger which was also tasteless. For these two food items, coffee and a coke came to £26. Over priced for bland food.
