Bidra med feedbackFantastic coffee house right in Shrewsbury town centre. Amazing quality coffee and food, ideal for lunch and the staff are so nice. I also love what Palmer’s do in the community, they care for the homeless, have a pay it forward scheme that helps support them and have a charity quiz night on the last Thursday of every month for their homeless charity, Kyle’s Home. Just beautiful
This café is dog-friendly and offers delicious decaf coffee, with a welcoming atmosphere and a selection of cozy seating options. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Don’t be fooled that this is only a Community Cafe. The fact that they are a Community Cafe, means that they are supporting a local community that will generally be unseen or ignored by society, such is the way of things these days. They are clearly providing a service supporting an element of the population, doing some fantastic work. Yes, I appreciate that this all sounds a bit patronising, but I assure you, this is meant with a 100% sincerity. Anyway, freshly made sandwiches coffee that was better than most pubs restaurant’s we have visited. Highly, highly recommended.
I have been to this restaurant twice with my friends. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I tried the ham and salad sandwich and lemon drizzle cake, both of which were delicious. One suggestion I have is to number the tables so that customers can easily identify their table number when ordering. Currently, it seems like the staff are having trouble locating the correct customers to deliver their food or drinks. During my first visit, I was asked where I was sitting, and during my second visit, I was given a spoon with a number. Despite this, the staff were still wandering around looking for the right customers.
What a great find, had a nice little lunch here today and great that our dog was welcome inside too due to the cold. Lots of space and comfy sofas. Certainly recommend the courgette and avocado cake which was excellent. Prices all very reasonable. Definitely return on our next Shrewsbury visit.
