Bidra med feedbackMade a reservation for 7.30pm, had this confirmed via email. Arrived at restaurant on time to find the doors locked. There were a few people inside and a note on the door saying something about ‘only regulars welcome’. We waited a while and tried the door a few times again, but no luck. No idea why they would accept reservations and then lock out their patrons. Looks slightly run down based on the outside of the restaurant. No problem, went across the road and had a fantastic meal and a lovely night. Not too sure what to think of this restaurant!
Love the interior of odd fellows and service is friendly. Drinks are expensive theres no doubt but menu is excellent for a Saturday treat if in shifnal.
On Friday night we usually visit for a few drinks after work, but this week we decided to try the bar snacks. One word AMAZING, especially the firestix chicken. What is better than a few drinks in the bar with some small plates. My only suggestion is have some menus out, because when we ordered ours 2 tables either side of us looked in amazement and then ordered themselves. Service is always excellent and great for beers and a great selection of gins as always
Stopped for dinner and drinks on a Saturday evening. Food was really good and overall we had a lovely meal. We did feel a bit rushed given the service was almost a bit too quick! Plates whipped away as soon as we’d finished and not much time to deliberate on the menus without being asked a couple of times if we were ready to order. Seems strange to comment on very quick service but it did feel a bit like we were in the way.
Went for lunch ordered drinks which were delivered promptly by a charming waitress ordered our lunch without issues.after around ten minutes wait a lady whom I assume was manager arrived to announce that they weren't prepared to serve us because I had previously said that I thought that the chef was incompetent. I still don't remember the incident in question (it must have been months ago I live in France) however if I did say that it would be because I thought the chef to be incompetent.we were asked to leave.This is what happened make of it what you will.
