On our way home, we decided to stop at a restaurant and ordered the fried fish, curry, and a small sausage for our dog. The chips were nicely fried and everything was delicious. I got the fish from the fish and chip shop.

We ordered the large cod, chips, and mushy peas. I have to say, it was fantastic and the service inside the restaurant was also excellent. I highly recommend it.

We have stopped by this restaurant twice in the past few weeks for a quick and comfortable meal. Both visits were fantastic. While it may not be a place for a fancy dining experience, it excels at providing excellent everyday fish and chips and similar dishes. The chips were particularly noteworthy, perfectly cooked and crisp. The burger and other menu items were also delicious and well worth the price. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Service was efficient and quick. Overall, this restaurant offers great value and quality compared to the fast food place down the road with the big yellow 'M' sign, which seemed more focused on drive-thru customers than dine-in service.

I have cod and chips. it took about 25 minutes to arrive. there were 4 people and more employees. no apologies. the type that served me was as if he had done me a massive pleasure by agreeing to bring the food to my table after waiting for 5 minutes. the fish was not bad, although the teig was not great. chips were soggy, but rubbery. not sure how they got it. it's very dated and not pure like an old fat spoon. the decking outside falls apart. the prices were reasonable and they had a lot of menu.

Had fish and chips and chicken burger and chips. The chicken burger was totally tasteless and the chips really greasy and hubby said the fish was really tasteless. Won’t be going back again.
