Bidra med feedbackThis Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury never disappoints. The food is always delivered hot and the curry dishes are consistently tasty. We always order the chicken Balti and chicken sagwala and highly recommend the consistent quality of this place.
I ordered a takeaway meal for two. The curries were very tasty, the meat was tender, and it was good value for money. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
The lack of reviews since December 2022 is concerning. My recent experience at this restaurant was not as good as it had been in previous years. Upon returning to Shrewsbury, we decided to get a takeaway from here. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The paratha was rubbery, the chicken Rogan lacked tomatoes and was topped with a lazy puree. The chicken tikka masala sauce was tasty, but the naan was dry and tough. The chips were frozen skinny fries instead of fresh cut. We paid £28 for two simple dishes with egg fried rice, two breads, and chutney. They also gave us a free taster dish and poppadoms, but they were not enjoyable. Overall, we were very disappointed and it may be a while before we return. Next time, we will try Shalimar to see if they are any better.
Order over and over again since reccomended by a friend over 3 years ago. We both love curry and have tried MANY over the years. Mahim is exceptional, fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient. There may occasionally be longer with times whe they are really busy but their popularity speaks for itself. Every time it is worth the wait. Highly reccomend
We ordered a take away meal this evening by telephone and collected it some 20 minutes later. Very friendly and efficient service. The best was yet to come! The meal was probably the best Bangladeshi/Indian food that we have ever tasted. Hence, just fabulous and a well earned five stars. We will definitely be back again Dave Kettle
