Carmar Tearoom - Shropshire

I ordered a cheese and ham panini with a cup of tea and received exactly that! The food was delivered quickly and very hot. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant (although I wasn't a fan of the carved carrot). I did notice that the floor seemed very slippery, but it might have been a combination of my shoes and the wet conditions.

The staff is extremely friendly and the coffee is fantastic.

I had a wonderful time meeting the girls this morning at this lovely restaurant. I absolutely adore this place. The teapot was fantastic and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It's conveniently located in the city center, right across from my favorite shop, M&S.

Looking for something Gluten free is difficult so pleased to find Carmar cafe. Jacket potatoes and Gluten free cake excellent. The hot meals from the daily specials looked good. Very fast food service. Excellent.

We went for a mooch in Shrewsbury and were looking for morning coffee. All the big chains but we fancied something more homely and found Carmar. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Nice coffee and homemade cakes too. My sister in law needed gluten free.. no problem, we have LOTS on offer. So afterwards went for a further explore then it was lunchtime so, having seen their menu, back we went. Not disappointed, lovely meal at very reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommend this tea shop, we'll be back!
