Village Pizza - Shrewsbury

Excellent Pizza. Jalapeños are a great topping and the small pizza is only $8! Will be coming again.

I've been going to Village since I was a kid. Even when I was a teenager, my friends would ride our bikes there to split a large cheese pizza and fries. Their pizza will always be the best in my books. The subs aren't too far behind either, especially the meatball sub.Village Pizza has always been a staple of the community in Shrewsbury, and I always try to stop and get a bite when I'm in the area.

I would give zero stars if possible. We keep giving this place another chance but no more. The order is always incorrect and the owner has the nerve to argue that it is our fault he made the wrong thing or forgot part of the order! Amazed he has any customers!

TRASH!!! I ordered 4 large cheese pizzas to be delivered to my son’s school for his third birthday party. I placed the order online, but called and spoke to the owner the day before as well just to verify that it was all set. He reassured me that my order was all set and would be delivered at the school for 11:15am. At 11:30 when the pizza wasn’t there, I called Village pizza and the owner said that he had run a little late but that the delivery driver had just left the shop so it would be there soon. When the pizza still hadn’t arrived at 11:45am, I called in a panic because I now had 20 hungry preschoolers expecting a pizza lunch. The owner basically told me that he uses a third party delivery service for deliveries and to contact “them” (still unsure who “them” is) because he couldnt do anything to help me. I was obviously upset after just spending $70 on pizza for my one birthday that didn’t show up. He refused to refund me, refused to make my order again, and instead told me that “he was busy and this was not his problem” and hung up on me. I will NEVER do business here again and will warn everyone I know to stay away. This owner is rude, trash and a crook. Don’t waste your time or your money here… you won’t get your food or good service.
