Nikolas Cafe - Shrewsbury

This is the best pizza place in the area!! Grilled pizza with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and toppings (if you want), and a gluten-free option! I never had a bad meal. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. You're not sorry to eat in this hidden gem!

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting here eating. It's a hobby of mine finding cafes that I've never been to. This is my first time here. I ordered the Tuscany chicken lunch special and BRAVO. The chicken is delicious and pairs well with the pesto spread and oil vinegar. Neither one is over powering and compliment each other well. Wait staff is friendly environment is comfortable. Also, the home made potato chips on the side was a nice change. Most places just give you Martins but it appears to me that these are made in house. Will definitely be back .

We used Nikola's Cafe to cater our staff holiday party, and the food did NOT disappoint! Everyone loved it! Everything was so delicious, but the ravioli and chicken voldestano were amazing! Greg, the owner, was so easy to work with, and he even delivered and helped us get it set up. Highly recommend this place, not just for catering, but for a nice meal out.

Homemade vinaigrettes were excellent. The MD crab soup was full of crab and the right amount of spice. The fresh bread went perfect with shrimp diablo. My wife had the crab cake for her main course which she said was also very good. It's a nice small place to have a great meal. It may be a little pricey, but for the quality and quantity it was more than well worth the price.

What a great find, this place should not be a strip mall restaurant. I ordered the Veal Saltimbocca and my fiance had the Veal Francese. Everything that was put in front of us, including soups and salad were great. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and excited to see us. We will definitely be returning.
