Salt Cafe - Shreveport

Great small aquarium. Took the grandbabies on a day trip and this was perfect! They enjoyed it very much. The assortment of aquatic life, mining for gems fossils, touch pools, and feeding stingrays. So much fun. We all had a great time. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and made it fun for everyone. Don't forget to check out the gift shop ... so many cute items.

Not bad for a time killer. The staff is knowledgeable about the fish they have along with being friendly. I keep season passes for my family. Occasionally they add something new. One of the cool things they have is a stingray pool where you can pet and feed them. They also host parties and events for a fee. I'm a season pass holder and I think it is not a bad investment.

You'll be surprised at exactly what the Shreveport Aquarium has to offer! Going to Miami and other big city aquariums and not even seeing SHARKS!! NOT HERE!! Not to mention Louisiana native animals like the Alligator Snapping Turtle and the gator!! Worth a visit!! Embarrassed to say I've lived here over 6 years and this is my FIRST TIME going...smh....

It was cool. Definitely loved the being able to touch things like sting rays and jelly fish. It was $40 for 2 adults and it only took us maybe 30,45 mins.

It's a fun place to visit even if you don't have kids. We enjoyed feeding the stingrays, that was our highlight. Maybe it was worth more a 4.5 rating than a 5, since there is room for improvement. We had a great time so no complaints here! The staff is really friendly.
