Quarterdeck - Shirlington

Very good seafood, fresh and well seasoned, coleslaw and fries were even good. Kind of rustic atmosphere (bathroom and other areas were downright dirty), not fine dining but really good food

The Quaterdeck is my favorite restaurant in the D.C. area. I'm not from the area, but discovered it on a work trip back in 2009. Every time I make a trip to D.C., I stop by the Quaterdeck! The food is amazing, the staff is awesome and there is always sports on the t.v. There is a bar on the other side of the restaurant and pool tables and other entertainment in the basement; a little something for everyone! If you want good crab and beer, the Quaterdeck is the only place you need to visit!

Colin was a great server. Crabs were alright. Go get xlarge crabs if you get them. Not smaller.

My friend and I ate there today for the first time ever. We came out for crabs because the reviews online said the quality was good. They did not disappoint! We had a dozen medium crabs and every single crab was nice and heavy. Also wanted to mention that our waitress Tish was wonderful. She was extremely pleasant and attentive. We want to thank her for making our first visit today so enjoyable. If you plan to go on a weekend make sure you make reservations. This place was packed!
