Highway Shacks - Shillong

This hut-themed restaurant is located on the way from Shillong to Cherapunji. Our driver proposed this place. The food is amazing with so many options and flavors. We ordered Tandoori rooti, Butter naan, Chole Mutton roganjosh. Mutton tasted amazing. Great food quality Ambience is great. They have cabins instead of a normal hall that offers privacy. The employees are good behavior. Toilets are clean, which is hard to find nowadays. You also have a campfire setup. I really enjoyed my visit here. Great experience

The place and the ambience are great. I really like setting up the place, it is beautiful and unique. They have cottages instead of a normal hall that gives us privacy and comfort to enjoy the delicious food with our loved ones. The food is great and everything is available in the menu with affordable prices. Staff are good behavior and friendly. The environment and the toilets are clean, which is difficult to find nowadays. You also have a campfire setup to hit the cool winter, keeps you warm. I really enjoyed my visit here. I hope to come by soon. Thank you for your service! Go on!

The food tastes great, fresh and not very sharp. The costs are not cheap, but not high. They sit in the wooden pods that feels great and can close the gate when it is cold outside.

I don't know what the name of the tree is but it's true how the tree spread its roots two sides of the canal there is a waterfall . Awesome creation of God.
