Mike Gino's On The Ave - Shillington

No longer called Mike Gino's, it is now called the Viva Mexican Sports Bar and the food was excellent!!!

I would give this place a 3.5. My family and I stopped in here for lunch because we wanted to try something new. The parking lot isn't the greatest but I've seen worse. The inside is beautifully done and very welcoming. There was one girl working who was super nice and helpful with the menu. She was incredibly attentive to our needs. My son had the cheeseburger and loved it! My other son got the chicken and fries. The fries are AMAZING. My husband got the grilled ham and cheese, which was huge. I got the steamed clams and a small Cesar salad. The clams were tiny, but the broth was delicious. The bread was incredibly salty for some reason. The salad wasn't bad, there were a few super brown pieces I had to pick out. Overall, not bad. It wouldn't be my first pick but I wouldn't not go back.
