Bidra med feedbackFantastic vegetarian tasting menu. Very interesting modern take on tofu and other vegetarian proteins. Innovative ways to use tomato (imitating salmon nigiri) and even mock eel (can't remember what it was made of). The chef is incredible and also very nice he thanked us graciously at the end of the meal and escorted us out.
Really elegant, thoughtful culinary creations— I found the flavor slightly lacking but enjoyed the experience enough such that it didn’t matter. I had the ¥5000 lunch course but honestly if you’re going for lunch I would recommend doing one of the lunch sets (cheaper at ¥1500 or ¥2500 depending which you pick) instead -as the food is generally the same; the lunch sets actually look a bit tastier. The full lunch course was paced very nicely though, so if you’re looking for a relaxing dining experience, definitely sit at the counter and enjoy! (from first to last dish, maybe about 1.5~ hrs)
Excellent vegetarian meal ! Friendly staff too. Super reasonably priced at ¥1500. They have other lunch options too. The most expensive being ¥5000 per person. We will definitely be coming back to try dinner.
Incredible food and astounding ambiance. This is Shoujin food, purely vegetarian healthy food. Crafted with expensive organic ingredients and some of the fine countryside miso, this place presents the most authentic temple kind of food you’d typically find in Japan. It’s pricey but very well conceptualized.
[AWESOME! This restaurant serve the typical Shojin ryori (traditional vegetarian service). This vegetarian restaurant is super expensive, but it is an unbelievable experience that you will get. The service, food, atmosphere, ..., everything, A1.
