Saffron - Shetland Islands

An apology to Indian food. Terrible food. I don't know if the colour they used is allowed at all. Ordered Mix grill Sizzler. My God, everything tasted horrible and some things were burnt. The colour was a put off. Palak paneer was a pity. The Naans were not cooked. The only solace was the dal. If there's a low point in my visit to Shetland, it was my time in Saffron. Food I am giving one star because I can't give zero a negative rating.

Too bland to my taste. Too deep colouring of Tandoori Mixed Grill puts one off.

Outstanding, service was a bit slow due to restaurant being full but food was worth the wait.

Excellent meal and service. The food was really tasty, not just chilly hot. We were both really hungry after a day's walking, and this place really hit the spot.

I am enjoying my longest bathroom night due to glorious food poisoning, after I had the mixed meat grill feast for 16.95, today (08/06/2024). Well done Saffron, you have made me realise to never ever try you again. I would love to congratulate your whole team for ruining my day and making me sick.
