That Bar-B-Q Place - Sherwood Park

Very disappointing experience from the service to the food. We ordered ribs and they were tough and very chewy. The baked beans were dry and gummy. It seemed the food had been sitting all day in some sort of warming oven and was certainly not fresh or tasty. They offer fully licensed on the menu however only had 1 kind or red wine available and limited beer options. Everything is served on disposable plates and cups with plastic utensils and it appears the expectation is that you clear your own table when done. All of that might be fine if they weren 't charging exorbitant prices for bad food and no service.

To be honest, I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was looking forward to tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs, but unfortunately, the meat was difficult to pull off and chew. I didn't even try to finish them. On the bright side, the coleslaw was delicious and the cornbread was tasty, although it was a bit dry.

Service was great. We had the pulled pork sandwich which had three times the meat of a fast food hamburger. With it we had a huge baked potato, a side of chips and pickles. I like that you put your own sauce on. My husband was thinking the price, $13 was high but he changed his tune when it came. You would pay that for a **** hamburger and fries in McDonalds. We will be going back for sure.

It was too bad the pork was dry today cause it usually is unreal. But still had great flavour. I do love the mashed as the side as well. They are unreal. The option for bbq sauce is good as well. I like them all. Prices are pretty fair as well.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is outstanding, the food is incredible, and you can truly see the owner's passion for their craft in every dish. The service is also very efficient.
