Bidra med feedbackWe have been here a few times now. The reason we came here is because they offer some gluten free options for the Celiac in the family. The owner came to talk to use one time and he is serious about the gluten free items because he has a Celiac in the family so he makes sure he does things right. They recently launched a few more gluten friendly items on the menu the shacknado potato and the cheese bites. Both were very good! From their website:Gluten Friendly Options2 Dedicated fryers for our hand cut friesOptional GF gravy for our PoutinesReal cheese curds from The Old School CheeseryHomemade MilkshakesGF buns(x fee) from Rio Vida bakeryOur hamburgers are GF with lettuce wrap or GF bun (extra fee) upon requestShacknadoCheese bites (8 piece)We also like to dine outside or do take out so it is nice that they have set up a patio outside. Lots of parking around because it is in a strip mall.
We went here after reading the good reviews. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! The burger was very sub-standard. McDonalds would have been far better. A complete waste of money. I do not recommend this place. The gravy was the only good tasting item. Perhaps if you're a small child you'll enjoy it here. So sad, as I was truly expecting more. Perhaps if you paid and left a tip AFTER the meal they would improve? Perhaps. I will never know, because that is one local establishment that lost customers.Parking: Lots of parking for a Sunday evening. To be expected for the location.
Wow!!! 10/10 place to eat, lots of choices for fries, poutine, cheeseburgers and more. Had a very relaxed and chill vibe to the place. The picnic table seating was cute and fun!! They had a fantastic gluten free bun on the burger that didn’t fall apart. The fries were lovely and crispy. They even reassured me that their fries were done in their own fryer so no cross contamination occurred. The milkshake was also gluten free and there were your classic flavours. For the kids they also had some cute colouring sheets. A great little place to eat, I will be going back for sure.
My husband is from Quebec and I brought takeout from here for him and he really enjoyed it. The fries, gravy and cheese curds were very similar to those you would find in Quebec. Wish there were a few more cheese curds. Think the Montreal smoked meat sandwich was a bit overpriced for how basic it is but I assume it’s costly because they need to bring the meat in from Quebec. The wait for food was a bit long but it was worth it. Quite enjoyable. Will be back.
Great Gluten free burger, good quality fries and a decent milkshake. Has outdoor sitting in the summer which is also a huge plus. The girlfriend enjoyed the fish and chips(bigger portion then expected. I'll definitely be back.
