Huku Chinese Bistro - Sherwood Park

This restaurant has been in existence for quite some time so it was time to try it again.The food was very good and definitely improved since last time. There was lots of take-out while the restaurant was very quiet. It is recommended.

We decided to get takeout for New Year's Eve from a restaurant we had never been to before. The portions were large and delicious. The menu offered a wide variety of options at a reasonable price. We were impressed with the quality of the food and plan on returning to dine in next time.

I see some of the positives and negatives from other reviews. I had one of the sizzling plates. It came out very hot and fresh, as it should. Service was fast and friendly tonight. Food was decent, just not a fan of this style egg roll.

Our adult children in Sherwood Park recommended Huku to us, saying it was the best Chinese restaurant in town. We had stopped eating Chinese food three years ago, but decided to give it a try. The restaurant space was clean and fresh, with no lingering odors of old cooking oil. There were six of us, so we ordered the combo for six and added two more separate dishes to try. We were pleasantly surprised to not see the typical dishes like chicken balls and overly sweet ribs. Every item we tried was fresh and delicious. The green onion cakes were especially amazing, and we were tempted to take some home. The Princess Peach Prawns were lightly sauced and not overly sweet, and even the deep fried dishes weren't greasy. The service was friendly and efficient, with all dishes served in a timely manner. We will definitely be dining at Huku again.

The take out is very quick , the food is amazing and the people are very friendly,when you order above 45 cad you get free chicken fried rice and you always get some fortune cookies and sauces
