Columbus Public House - Sherburne

Food was really good but the drink special when I went wasn't very good. Very weird flavor combination that I only drank out of obligation since I'd ordered it.

Good food, fun atmosphere, could use some more spicy options. French onion was the soup of the day -that was great. Kid’s meal was an adult size portion. Chicken wings were okay- the sauce seemed like it had cream or mayonnaise in it and wasn’t my favorite. Salads were fine.

The food and service never disappoints. Friendly, efficient service at reasonable prices. Fabulous fish fry on Fridays. Fried chicken is the best we’ve ever had. Quesadillas rock. Wicked amazing desserts. Love the late 1700s Inn. A local gem ?

While visiting in the area, we had to check out the Columbus Public House. My husband had the wings and declared them absolutely delicious. The bourbon burger was super tasty. Bree, our waitress was accommodating when I experienced low blood sugar while waiting for our food to be served. It wasn’t a long wait ,it was just something that happened to me. It’s wonderful that they have brought this building back into operation. You’ll enjoy seeing how they have decorated the walls. There is inside and outside dining. Also a bar area

Had the Friday night fish fry. Very good fish with a light batter. Cooked perfectly. Excellent fresh cut fries.
