Restaurant Baladi - Sherbrooke

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. Their treatment of others here is very terrible. I wanted to give a meal to a local person that I see often on my walks, who doesn 't have a home and cannot keep himself in the best shape. When we went in and a staff member (owner? came out to greet us, the first thing that he did was literally shush my companion when my companion tried to order. He was treated so poorly, like he wasn 't even worthy of being spoken to. He was told he can order, but needs to get out and eat elsewhere. We, of course, were not going to support such a terrible business. I told the owner that it that wasn 't nice what he was doing and that the person doesn 't deserve to be treated like that and that he is also human. You 'd think it ends there, but no. This staff person literally went outside as we were leaving to lecture me and ask me whether I think it 's okay when these people just **** everywhere on the streets. I couldn 't care less. A person who doesn 't have food or a home should not be berated for their situation, much less for where they choose to pee. My companion was humiliated and was made to feel terrible when he was already feeling pretty terrible. Please support other local businesses that do not treat others this way.

The best mediterranean food in Sherbrooke. Plate very generous...Excellent service. La meilleure bouffe méditerranéenne a Sherbrooke. Des assiettes vraiment généreuses. Excellent service.

Looking for some traditional meals from Morocco? Stop at Baladi. The hummus is incredible, the portions are nice and the food is very good. It is not the cheapest place but the food is great. Therefore, it’s well worth going. Bring your own wine!!! It’s also well located on Wellington. I personally recommend the Shish Taouk.

A short stop downtown Sherbrooke. I was so lucky choosing the Baladi restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!
