L'Original - Sherbrooke

If you want something different from fastfood for lunch, this restaurant could be interesting. Almost everey thing comes from local producers of bread, cheese tomatoes. However, the menu is quite limited to some sandwiches. It is not easy to find cause it is a appartment building. But, the owner is friendly. The orange juice and the kola are done by hand with the owner's recipies. Very interesting.

Delicious food! Well priced. New and small restaurant. I would go back again. Simple but clean decor. Very organic.

The poutine at this restaurant is excellent. The thick-cut fries are made from local potatoes, topped with the freshest, squeakiest cheese (also local) and smothered in a deliciously thick and flavorful sauce.

This review is based on my personal opinion, but I have noticed that Le Roy Jucep is very popular among many people.

I recently tried a poutine specialty restaurant and was disappointed to find that it was the worst poutine I have ever tasted. The gravy tasted canned and flavorless, and the cheese curds seemed heavily processed.
