Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is very spacious and has a friendly atmosphere. The menu offers a great variety, and I've enjoyed several visits here. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented.
The restaurant was very clean, but I couldn't enjoy a meal because it was fully booked, which is a good sign of its popularity.
The restaurant is fine, but it doesn't really stand out. The food is straightforward and made with integrity.
I had thought the prices would be high, but we don’t eat out often, so I was prepared for a treat. I ordered what I believe was called the Ultimate Breakfast, which was more than enough to satisfy the hungriest eater. My son's meal was £10, and mine was £7.50, which I found very reasonable given the quality, variety, and portion sizes, especially considering the rising costs of supplies. Both of our breakfasts included bacon, sausage, eggs, baked cherry tomatoes, hash browns, black pudding, baked beans, mushrooms, and either bread or toast. I swapped my hash browns and black pudding for extra bacon. The ingredients were top-notch and perfectly cooked. While we waited, I enjoyed a large flat white and my son had a latte — both were excellent. The menu is straightforward, featuring most cooked breakfasts and a few items on toast. You place your order at the counter, where you can see the cooks in the kitchen. The front-of-house staff were friendly and efficient, providing service with a smile. The outdoor terrace and farm shop are perfect for a stroll afterward. There’s also an upper floor with craft items for sale, which is enjoyable to browse (a bit pricey, but nice to see). Overall, it was surprisingly affordable, and I highly recommend Thorners. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area!
The coffee and cake we had were excellent, and the food we saw being served looked delicious. We just happened to drive by and decided to stop for a drink, and we're really glad we did!
