Weakfish At The Chequit

Have been to the Tavern in the Chequit twice and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. Seated outside, six of us could easily converse, but seated inside, five of us had a terrible time hearing each other. While the renovations were pleasing to the eye,the acoustics were dreadful. Can't knock the food though; nice selection and delicious.

Great, weekend or weekday getaway. Ben and the staff showed us a great time. Definitely try the sushi bar or have some drinks by the firepit.

Our second time at Weakfish. It was a fabulous experience. Service was exceptional, food amazing and interesting, atmosphere absolutely lovely, prices apropos of what you’re getting. Highly recommended.

So great that we went twice during our stay on Shelter Island. The sushi was so good and the sushi chef was wonderful, he made some special pieces for us, we truly enjoyed it.

Worse than airplane food. Brown gravy on cod was vile. Shame, because the decor is lovely. Waiters didn 't speak English...felt like I was at McDonald 's.
