Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Shelby

This is the only location we've ordered from in the 6 years of living here and we only eat here maybe once or twice a year but wont be again. We were missing a drink (I noticed as we pulled out but didnt have time to go in), extra toast was missing,ordered an A.1. Burger but instead got a deluxe with a cup of onion rings thrown in the bag, blizzards were already half meltedwhen they handed them to us. We drove 30 minutes in, waited for almost 30 minutes then drove home just to find out more thanhalf the order was messed up. I think I'd rather drive 45 min to Lincolnton, maybe they'll get it right. It was okay to orderhere when we first moved here but I'll gladly take my money somewhere else now.

I ordered a banana split with no whip cream. I got one Strawberry, very little Strawberry topping, very little pineapple topping with maybe 3 small pineapples, a little chocolate and banana. Very disappointed. So, I asked for more topping and wasinformed that they could not give me more because of the high cost of strawberries. OMG. Poor customer service. So, basically Ihad vanilla ice cream and a banana. Totally won 't get it from there again!

What a difference a few weeks can make! The last 2 visits we made to the Shelby NC location were awful! Looked like an entire new crew that didn't know what they were doing. The 1 cashier on duty seemed unable to operate the register. I looked at theorder after he entered it and told him it didn't match what I requested. He tried to make adjustments and assured me it wouldbe right. Well, no, the order came out wrong when presented to us. After standing in line for 15 minutes to tell him it waswrong....he said they would do it again. Wrong again! There were several other customers in line with the same issue. Wewill NOT go back again until those workers have been replaced. It was ridiculous. I hope other customers will report this asI have. They weren't rude at all....just unable to perform their duties. This happened weeks in a row.

We ordered and got our sundaes in less than 5 mins. It took them 40 mins or more just to make a cheeseburger and a 3 piece chicken tender. We ate the ice cream before we got our food. Employees are not working together to get the food out and the guymaking the food is very slow. Actually seen 1 guy walking around on his phone an barely doing anything. Never seen a managernowhere or seen any leadership in order to get the food out. I was not the only one who had to wait. I seen food go out wrong anhad to be brought back an I seen food left off of orders all while I was standing there for 40 mins. I really wished someonewould do something about getting people properly trained an getting faster with the orders. The manager should have stepped inan done something but no manager was anywhere to be seen.

Don?t waste your time and money purchasing an ice cream birthday cake from this place. They gave me the wrong size and as not to be difficult I took it just to drive home 8 minutes for a completely melted cake. Ordered a plain hot dog and all I got wasbread! Seriously?! Never going back.
