The Rising Sun - Sheffield

We called in for a spot of lunch,only to find it was very busy,the waitress Vicky managed to find us a spot as we hadn't booked ahead. The chap behind the bar,Kevin was under pressure,but was able to cope well,very pleasant.The meal was lovely as per usual. Vicky looked after us ,extremely helpful,even though we noticed that there sempt to be only 2 staff available today. Vicky and Kevin were extremely busy,but still very pleasant and helpful with our orders. Great place ,great service , definitely recommend the Rising sun, we'll be back. Food was great, as always, though it wasn't clear from the menu what my vegan& gluten-free friend could eat. Staff tried to help but they were a bit unsure. Sorted it out eventually but this could have been better.

A lovely pub with low beams and an open fire. Service was excellent as was the food. Great selection of beers.

Found this place as we were using a Dining Out gift card. We will definitely come again, excellent food, empty plates, great service and friendly staff. Thankyou for a great meal out

Absolutely beautiful! the staff are very attentive, the steaks are cooked to perfection, we had a nice evening thanks to sue the team
