The Francis Newton - Sheffield

Used to go regularly a few years ago. The beer is well kept haven't eaten there for a while so can't comment. But beware of the parking it is no longer free. Ended getting 2 £45 fines. Second one was for just over 10 minutes as went back next day to see if I had left my gloves. Should be more signage in the pub itself. Won't be going again left a nasty taste. £92 for a pint is too pricey for me.

Josh Wilson the manager was rude to me and my friends. He stole our money and served me cold beans. Our trip was ruined because of him.

Great experience at this restaurant. The menu had a nice variety of options and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and there was ample parking available. The wine selection was just right and reasonably priced.

I have visited this restaurant quite often because it is where I wait while my fiancé receives regular infusions at Hallamshire. Today, I went with her, my stepdaughter, and pregnant granddaughter who had appointments. I recommended it for breakfast. Unfortunately, the two hot breakfasts were only warm, the hot sandwiches had no butter on them, and both drink machines were not working. Even when the staff got them running, my hot chocolate was not hot, and the cappuccinos were only half full and lukewarm. For the first time, no one came over to ask if the food was okay, which it wasn't. I spoke to the manager, who offered 20% off our next visit. It's a shame, but I have noticed that some places tend to decline as Christmas approaches. This is the first time I have had to complain, and I will update this review after my next visit.

My husband and i came here on the 24th of november i had chicken tikka massala with pilau rice popadoms and naan my husband had a magarta pizza wirh garlic bread followed by apple crumble and a warm brownie food came quick very tasty excelent value for money staff were very warm and friendly would visit again if i come back to sheffield highly reccommend this pub bev thompson
