We just had the most amazing Sunday lunch. The beef was delicious, the vegetables were fresh, and the mashed and roasted potatoes were perfect. The Yorkshire pudding was lovely and the gravy was very tasty. It was definitely the best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time.
We ordered Sunday lunches along with a side of cauliflower cheese, and waited a while after placing our order for the food to arrive. The cauliflower cheese was overcooked, the beef was tough, and all the vegetables appeared to be frozen. The roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings seemed to be from a mass-produced brand like Aunt Bessie's. When we raised our concerns, the chef simply stated that everything was prepared according to the specifications and there was nothing he could do about it. The portions were small and the overall quality was very disappointing. We would recommend opting for a meal at a Wetherspoons instead. This establishment fell short in comparison to other local pubs such as The Big Tree and The Prince of Wales, especially on a Sunday.
Don't wait your money, the food was dreadful and the management are rude and unfriendly, waited over an hour for food for it to be cold and tasting like it came out of a microwave, we won't be returning, I'd stick to the big tree.
Ordered some halloumi fries and they were horrible so my guy chris brought us free shots instead. absolute legend. love u chris x
