Takdir - Sheffield

My wife and I have used the Takdir takeaway for over twenty years and in that time have never once had a bad meal. The quality and quantity of the portions are absolutely wonderful as are the staff. They are so incredibly friendly and efficient. Arif, Naz and Aidy and the fabulous chef please take a bow, you are all superb. The dishes served are so incredibly fresh and so very very tasty. The portions are extremely generous. It really is the best Indian food on the planet. It really does not matter what you order (my wife and I have ordered most dishes on the menu) everything is just fantastic. Takdir, we will continue using you for another twenty years. Thank you for your superb food and service.

Have used Takdir for years and the food is always excellent and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended if you’re wanting a good Indian takeaway.

After weeks of wanting a curry, I was elated to see that Takdir had reopened during this period of lockdown. The gentleman who answered the phone was polite and efficient. The meal arrived in 45 minutes with the delivery driver wearing gloves and placing it on the door step and stepping back until we had retrieved the meal. The food was lovely and hot and the meat was really tender. We will definitely be using again.

Have used Takdir for many years, and the food is always OK, occasionally its great but on the odd occasion it's less than OK. Last night it was less than great. Onion Bhaji's were stone cold, and the poppadoms just had a strange odour like the oil they had been cooked in was old or stale. Had to leave them all. Chicken in the main course was good, but have nioticed that they are now increasingly cut into small pieces from how they used to be. Will roll the dice and use again in future, but such a shame that the quality is not consistent and is really hit and miss,.
