The Hallamshire House

This is a great pub with good façade and craftsmanship, a great traditional pub atmosphere and friendly staff.

In a chain that focuses on the public side of the dinge to get as many people through the door as possible, this place puts the house back into the public house. They are not so much a customer but a gast. There is only something special that no specific adjectiv other than cozy with its winged back can fully justify, well at a point of comfort led fire.

I got shushed here on a date…twice. What’s worse is that she didn’t look like her photos. This is the first time I’ve matched with someone on Tinder called Lucy, but when I’ve met them in real life their name was Clive. Good pub though.

Best pub in the world. Lovely staff, especially Doug who is a legend and makes the Monday Quiz unmissable. Great choice of beer on rotation and comfy seating. Blessed to have this on doorstep

Great beers, great quiz, big snooker table, spacious, lovely sheltered beer garden may well be the perfect pub?
