My husband and I finally made it up here to The American Club and Kohler Spa. We went to The Wisconsin Room for dinner our first night. I was honestly a little underwhelmed. I had the lobster gnocchi. The gnocchi was good and there was a generous portion of lobster but it was a little bland. The scallop appetizer was good, cooked well but flavors a little simple. Nothing was wrong but nothing was memorable. They were out of the appetizer and dessert I picked which is a little frustrating but I understand sometimes hard to predict during off season. For such a pricey place I expected a little more. Staff was attentive however, they seemed under staffed. Beautiful old feel to the restaurant inside the American Club.

Our Server was Kelly. We were there for my husbands birthday. We were surrounded by couples celebrating their Baby-Moon, a last trip before the birth of a baby. My husband had the veal and I had the halibut. They were heaven and just the perfect amounts. She heard it was his bithday, so she brought us champagne and chocolate rasberry minature cakes. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful dining room. the breakfast is notch. hollandaise sauce from scratch. daily omelette. good coffee. friendly service!

The food, atmosphere, and service was outstanding. Our waiter, Benjamin was very attentive and genuinely cared for our whole experience. I can't wait for a time to go back
