During our visit to the area, the kind staff at Brasserie du Trou du Diable recommended this restaurant to us for lunch. It was absolutely delightful. From innovative cocktails, to a delicious meal and ending with a irresistible dessert, the dining experience was a hit from beginning to end. We have decided to forgo our usual snacks during our outings in Mauricie to instead dine at this hidden gem. Kudos to the new management for their outstanding work! We will definitely be returning.

What a pleasant surprise in Shawinigan! This bistro has an excellent selection of beers. Sophie, our server, knew the beer, cocktail, and food menu very well. We felt confident entrusting her with choosing our beers to accompany our meal, and we were not disappointed. The afternoon menu was a bit limited, but with some very good choices. My friend chose the pork sausage corndogs and was very satisfied. I ordered the Beef tartare served with salad, and it was well-seasoned and served with a fresh salad. Everything was delicious. The front terrace and the pedestrian street nearby were both lovely spots to dine. It's always a pleasure to be served by knowledgeable staff who take pride in their profession. Kudos to the entire team!

Nous avons apprécié notre souper au Chenapan. Nous avons pris deux planches à partager. Notre coup de coeur: le tartare de boeuf! EXCELLENT! On y retournera que pour en manger à nouveau.

Le tartare était vraiment délicieux et la bière sublime, le service amical et professionnel et j'ai vraiment adoré l'ambiance décontracté, je conseille Le Chenapan :-)
