First Watch - Sharpes

My partner and I were greeted and seated. After that we were ignored. No acknowledgement from the wait staff at all. After waiting for 10 min and watching other patrons that came in after us receive their drink order, we left. The least that the staff could have done was to acknowledge that we were seated and that they were busy. I'm not the type to leave reviews but this visit was completely upsetting and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Went to First Watch for the first time after a nite out with my Wife celebrating our 3rd year anniversary so we wanted to try a new spot for breakfast so we ordered some food to go and got home and was Highly disappointed in the food. The seasoned potatoes we had were over salted, the grits were drowned in butter and looked like a heart attack waiting to happen, we got the (works omelet) the omelets were filled with mostly onions and mushrooms, barely any meat. My Wife's French toast tasted like bread with cinnamon on top. Can't see how this place has so many good reviews as I must have had a bad cook on a even worst day. I put pics of my Grits and all the onions that were in my omelet and a pic of those over salted seasoned potatoes.

Excellent food, had the new potato dish they have, AMAZING

May have been a bit partial as biscuits and gravy were the objective. Nonetheless, they were spot on. The eggs were exactly as ordered. Atmosphere? Was nice and clean. However, the atmosphere was trying too hard to be generic, which left it just bland. Our server was young and believed he had too many tables because I saw him working his but off yet still failed to check on our food and drinks for 40 minutes.

I love the First Watch restaurant. It 's my go-to place, even if I 'm not having a meal. Dave, the manager, and his staff are excellent. They always greet me warmly and make me feel welcome. It 's a great way to brighten my mood on my way to the office. Thanks, guys. Keep up the excellent work.
