Wayside Inn Grille - Shamokin

The food took a hour to come out. They were out of a bunch of items on the menu. I get it, that can happen. What is not acceptable is the bartenders overserving drunken idiots at the bar. You have to know when to cut off rude obnoxious drunks. Hopefully these jerkoffs do not crash into anyone while driving home tonight. The irresponsible bartenders and lack of management at the Wayside I am afraid, will someday, get an innocent person hurt or worse.

This combination of services available is unlike any I've seen. It handles every interest you could look for in entertainment. It's a combo sports bar, restaurant, outside tiki bar, dine-in seating for privacy or group functions, and it's an event hall that handles a large crowd for functions(weddings,reunions,etc... All that that with motel rooms available upstairs to boot! It literally caters to every possible situation your looking for. It's like one building with multiple businesses on location. And it's operated by a long tenured staff, management, and ownership all true professionals. It's truly the class act of the Shamokin, Coal Township, and Paxinos area.Parking: Very large easy access parking! It handles all potential customers for any event.Wheelchair accessibility: Access ramps for easy access around the establishment entrances.

Ordered the clams and it was delicious.Our server was wonderful and so sweet!Haven’t been here for a regular outing just for events so it was refreshing to have great friends, great service and good food.I’m an out of towner so this would only be applicable for those of the same, it is a nice restaurant with good consistent food. The service was very nice to make our night out even better.Menu had enough to satisfy any typo of palette.Prices are very reasonable.Atmosphere was nice since there was a band there and lots of socializing.Overall it was a new nice place to enjoy good food, good atmosphere and great friends.

When we attempted to go inside, a server stopped us and said outside seating only because I am the only one here right now . So we left. It was a little too hot for that, and I am sure that the service would have been too slow. Probably wasn 't her fault (unless she 's the owner) Perhaps that person should take more of an interest in the place.

Always a good destination for a bike ride bar major always very pleasant beer is always cold usually have a band or something very place to hang lot outside seating.Food: 5/5
