Karpanta - Sevilla

Ordered a pitcher of Sangria and a Mojito. Sangria very sweet with so much ice cube that the pitcher contained less than half of Sangria. Mojito was only sugar, couldn’t taste rum, no mint…

Without doubt my favourite resteraunt in Sevilla. I first discovered this place with my partner (who is local) in 2019. Everytime I have come back to Sevilla, i come here atleast once. The fact it is busy shows how popular it is. I came here as a party of 4, and we were treated so lovely. I struggle with food as i do tend to have a problematic stomach. The food is always really tasty and the value for money is superb. 4 meals and several drinks just a little over 50 euros. Great value for money. More importantly the atmosphere is lovely. The waitresses were superb, really lovely and friendly. I have to give a special mention to monika. I remembered her from 2019 and i was so glad she was hear again. Plenty of smiles and she was so friendly and made our night with how lovely she was. We hope to see you again. A wonderful place, and clearly my favourite.

Typical trap for tourists. It has nothing to do with local cousin. The only tasty thing was Salmorejo. We ordered tapas croquetas, rollitos, palomitas de pollo. All were bland and tasted the same I felt like in fast food. Service was poor. They were in rush taking all the plates so fast that we barely were able to finish dinner, even though a lot of tables were free and local was not crowded. If you look for spanish food it is definitely not this place .

Mucha variedad a buen precio, destacable la tapa de salmorejo ENORME. Muy comodo y practico tanto para comidas como cenas.

He cenado allí en numerosas ocasiones y tiene mucha variedad en la carta y todo muy bueno, difícil quedarse con algo.
