It is one of the most historic (with La Campana) bakeries in downtown Seville. It is in the Sierpes street, a main vein of commerce in the city. In it, you will find the most typical sweets and breads, totally Sevillian style. They also serve breakfast and very good price lunch menus (around 10 euros). They have tables outside on Cerrajeria Street. Do not expect too much communication in English, because servers will know the basic, just to serve you. But remember: very good for hungry tourists, not for a nice experience of eating out in Seville.
Unless you speak Spanish, you should avoid this place. While much of Seville does not speak English, and that is totally fine, this place attempts to take advantage or those who do. We were seated in an area that was housing a large tour group, but we were not in the tour group. We asked for water in Spanish, they declined and said we had to order a soda or beer. Puzzled, we just ordered beers assuming water would come after we ordered something, it did not. Then we were told to order off the fixed menu set for the tour group. We explained we weren't with the group, but they insisted we order food, so instead we just asked to pay our for beers and we would leave. Refused to bring a check, had to ask for it, cost was 3.10, have them 4 Euro, got back 0.80 Euro. So on top of attempting to bully us into ordering food intended for a group we weren't with (and politely explained in Spanish we weren't with), you give us bad service and the wrong change. Enjoy that 0.10 Euro, it bought you a 1/5 review.
