It’s been hot in Seville and we’d been riding our push bikes for a few hours at which time we were trying to find somewhere cool for lunch. It wasn’t obvious that Bodegon was open as sensibly their clients were all indoors. Anyway we got a table inside and quickly had a cold Cruzcampo after which life began to return. The restaurant has a nice clean modern decor and seemed to be patronized 100% by local Sevillians and we two Aussies. For lunch we ate the salmon tartare, the prawns fried in butter and garlic, the battered king prawns with aioli and the pig cheeks. All very good and expertly and quickly served by Alfonso.
My family and I were recommended, back home (England), not to miss Bodegon . We went there our first day in Seville and indeed, it was a fantastic place where locals and tourists mingle in a very relaxed environment. The food was so delicious and the people there so nice that we ended up having lunch there for the next three days of our stay in Seville. I would recommend to call and book a table before arriving, since it is normally quite busy although you may be lucky and have a table just available just at your arrival. Definitely we will be back! The manager of the place was so nice and close, so were the waiters
Definitely one of the best dinning experiences we have ever had. Great cuisine, amazing flavors and even better price. Fish was exceptional. We had tuna, octopus and some other local fishes following their recommendations. Best dinner in Spain so far.
Is the typical place where you go on insurance, good food, good service and good price. These gentlemen are hospitality professionals and you can tell.
