Goldburger - Sète

I was searching for a place that served lunch preferably pub grub, like a burger. I saw the Goldburger sign, and decided to try to food. I was not disappointed; it was a great burger. A generous portion, lemon Fanta, nice staff, and a great view of the water system, and passersby.

It is a great service with delicious food! Waiters are friendly and welcoming. We stayed in Sete for a week and had a couple of times dinners and meals at Goldburger. Some of the plates were original of the house, so you should try them once you are in Sete at least once :

I had stuffed myself at lunch at Delices de Jade (see review). I wanted something quick and easy for dinner. Goldburgers is not really a restaurant. There's a counter, behind which 2 or 3 staff persons prepare burgers, sandwiches, crepes, and salads. And in front of and beyond the counter, there are tables and chairs which you choose yourself. It's a fast food place, but the dishes are prepared to order. The all woman staff is truly outstandingly friendly. And outstandingly efficient. You can have your burger done the way you want it. I ordered mine rare, and it came a bit more cooked than I like it, but OK. The fries are really good frites maison. The food brought to you on real plates with decent sliverware and with a smile. For the burger which was a bacon cheeseburger plus fries and a soft drink, the bill came to a grand total of 9.90 euros. You can't beat that.

C'est délicieux jusqu'à la mayonnaise qui accompagne les frites. C'est simple et efficace. Le cadre reste une salle ordinaire de restauration rapide, dommage. Mais si j'habitais dans le coin je deviendrais vite un habitué !
