A house in serra negra gave me the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant several times in the last 3 or 4 years (more precisely, since it is inaugurated.) eating has a good quality and is super tasty, they offer a large selection of olive oils and fine brot. the menu is really well sorted and people should try some of the dishes. my only concern is that the restaurant is expensive. Evening can easily reach paris gastronomic Saint-German prices. I can wait until I get back to Brazil to eat there.
Last Sunday, I had the pleasure to visit La terrazza with my family. The place was certainly a great surprise. The ravioli filled with Damascus were my vegetarian choice...delicious and very fulfilling. I would also recommend the Enoteca for a more intimate experience. The wine...can be chosen among an extensive list from wineries around the world and be tasted on a very cozy terrace. Congratulations to the owners, the place is a hidden jewel!
This restaurant is a little out of town, but it is on the main road as you go from São Paulo to Serra Negra so it's not inconvenient. However, it is worth a trip by car or taxi. It's one of those Italian places where...they make everything by hand. The pasta is not 100% the same shape because someone just made it a minute before boiling it. Just wonderful. They have a great wine list and a lovely terrace. Really can't recommend this place enough. You can even bring your dog if eating on the outdoor terrace important for many travellers!
Although not located in downtown, it's very close and easy to find. Infreastructure is amazing, a nice place to have a meal and relax. Food is excellent and sophisticated for a country-side restaurant. Visit the wine store next to the restaurant and buy some gourmet...coffee produced in the region (they sell in the store altought it's for exporting only).
