Trattoria Ghost - SERMONETA

Even though our Italian was weak to non-existent, it did not stop Concetta or Stephano from welcoming us warmly and chatting away while we enjoyed our home-made pasta (al dente! and carafes of local wine. We loved sitting in the sun next to the castle and feeling like locals! Thank you Ghost!

Great Food. Great owners. Great prices. We recommend this Place! We just took something for take away, got. an limoncello on top. The Food was delicous.

Nestled right next to beautiful Castello Caetani, Trattoria Ghost offers a simple but tasty menu. Everything is made in-house, which you can taste straight away from the first bite. The pasta is served al-dente, so if you prefer yours more cooked be sure to notify the staff. The owner Stefano is a true Roman in spirit, very generous and friendly. Awesome experience overall!

We were visiting beautiful Sermoneta and found this good rated place on Tripadvisor. Ordered meat, 1st and 2nd dish in ' 'Secondi , that says is the specialty of the house. The horror begins when the food arrived, 1st dish should have potatoes included but there was only one piece of couple of days OLD meat. 2nd dish was meat with some salad, the saddest thing ever, unchewable pieces of very OLD meat with a lot of bones with dry salad. We also tried to order side dish, but they didn 't have anything. Worst ecperience in restaurant ever. In one word everything was disgusting.

Ordered a meal mentioned as a house speciality, no. 1 under secondi . Since waiter did not speak any other language apart from Italian, I took what was recommended to me in sign language. I only knew it was some sort of meat. It was uneatable. Very hard to chew, meat was not fresh, tasteless. I think it was made days before and heaten up a bit for us. Like chewing rubber. Also, they had no potatoes or anything to serve it with. My boyfriend ordered second meal under secondi and the impression was the same. We left hungry and very disappointed. Again, this was recommended to me as I did not want to eat pasta. 20ish euros thrown to garbage. I gave 2 only because cheese with honey and nuts served to us were delicious.
