Monk's Butcher - Seoul

It was a nice place, especially for a date. but it was so understated. for most of the time there was no server at all on our floor, so it was difficult to ask for service or eating. the burger was good, quite fleshy, better than most of the beyond burger I think. but the spicy minari pasta was quite bland and was lacking in taste. could not taste minari and the spice. the chocolate mousse was delicious.

I recommend visiting if they are not very hungry and looking for a cool cozy night with a friend or date. the prices are high for a simple meal like pasta. their appetizers are delicious and they must take the chocolate mousse! it is super tasty! updated by previous review on 2022-08-21

Loved the fine mood and delicious food. her sangria was the best sangria I ever had, amazing aromas. they overcooked the burger a bit, but unlike that I really enjoyed all the dishes! updated by the previous review on 2022-07-22

I’ve been here twice, and the food was better the first time i came. the service was better the second time, but still not great. my friend and i got sat at the bar with two other couples (both times) and it’s so awkward sitting next to each other like that. we asked to sit on the roof and he told us it might be too hot, but we insisted. thankfully we were alone for the rest of the time while the other two floors were packed. the food is not worth the price. 25,000 won for a plate that has a tablespoon of beyond meat crumbles on it and 6 gnocchi… i could see if it were an amazing experience it would be worth it but it never is.
