Bidra med feedbackI instantly fell in love with this cute cafe. As soon as you walk through the door, it's like entering a whole different world. There's soft disney instrumentals and homey seating. The owner is super sweet and you can tell this is a regular spot for locals. The tofu burger was so flavorful with lots of different components. And the fermented lemon tea was amazing probably because you can see the jugs of fermenting lemons around the cafe! There's a small store section that sells some zero waste goods and local art. The prices for everything are pretty reasonable, I would say even relatively low, for the quality of product. All around lovely place. I wish I would have found it sooner! I absolutely adore this restaurant! The drinks and food are fantastic, and the atmosphere is delightful.
I must say, Maju Story is a cozy and inviting cafe where you can enjoy some Korean tea and a slice of vegan cake. Located outside of central Seoul, it may take a bit of effort to find, but it's worth the journey. After entering through a nondescript entrance and climbing a flight of stairs, take off your shoes, step inside, and unwind with a warm drink. The owner, a kind woman, creates a serene atmosphere in the cafe. In a bustling city where everyone is constantly on the move, Maju Story provides a refreshing escape.
The owner pays attention to detail in everything she does, creating a relaxing atmosphere. This restaurant is a must-visit in Seoul. Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious treats. I tried the sandwiches, the fermented lemon iced tea, and strawberry cake, and everything was absolutely delicious!
Maju story was recommended by me from someone of the Seoul Veggie Club group on facebook. The minute I heard about it I went. I was looking for vegan patbingsu (a korean dessert) and couldn 't wait to try it out. Maju story offers four different ones at reasonable prices (5,000-8,500). I ended up getting the one with green tea and LOVED it! The portion was generous and I shared it with my man. The interior of the space is lovely. There was calming music in the background, lots of light brown wood and artwork. It 's the perfect place to have a coffee/tea at with some sweet desserts. It 's honestly one of the sweetest cafes I 've ever been to and know I wasn 't paid to write this review, ha! I am just beyond thrilled to have found this place!
