We ordered kimchijjim and galbijjim. It was so hearty and flavourful — a perfect winter dinner. The meat was very tender, and the kimchi was so good with rice. The portions were huge. Their banchan was also very tasty. The cost performance was truly outstanding. We were seated in a side section that looked like the owner’s living room!? We didn’t find any staff who spoke English, but there was one who spoke Chinese. It was very difficult to find parking.

The shop is very foreigner friendly as owner and helpers speak basic English. The food is just great. The jigae and kimchi jjim are side dishes included when you order your dish.

The food is delicious and good value for money. The kimchi jjim and galbi jjim are both recommended dishes. The service is great as well.

This restaurant in the Seongsan area is quite famous for its breakfast and the food is very generous. It is known for its bibimbap for two, high-quality grilled mackerel with kimchi, and cheonggukjang. Many families with children come here to eat, so it can get crowded and there may be a wait during lunchtime. The atmosphere is bustling and noisy, but the food is delicious. Unfortunately, they only accept cash payments, which can be inconvenient as they have a variety of menu options with different price ranges.
