This lovely little restaurant had everything we needed to relax: tasty food, excellent service, and delicious drinks. My friend and I tried the Hallasan-Soup, contaminated sausage (even in the middle of summer! haha), and the eggplant rice bowl. Both dishes were fantastic. My Korean friend adored the soup and declared it the best meal we had on Jeju Island! We also loved their blueberry lemonade. The menu seems to change regularly based on the photos we saw on Happy Cow. We communicated in Korean, so I can't speak to their English skills, but since everything is vegan, there's nothing to worry about.
The restaurant is located near the highway and may be challenging to access due to limited public transportation options compared to Seoul or Busan. However, I was delighted to discover a hidden gem on this island. The owner is friendly and able to communicate in English. Regrettably, not all items on the menu, such as japchae or desserts, were available. The portion sizes were a bit small for my liking, prompting me to order an extra burger. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!
My first time trying loving hut, and it was amazing! The prices are very good and the food is delicious, there is a big variety and we tried half the menu. Its so nice not to have to stress about the ubiquitous meat found in most Korean food. My favorite items are the fried dumplings and chop chai bab (rice and noodles). The owner is lovely and the atmosphere was cozy, like your grandma's house. I just wish they had one in Busan!
Absolutely adorable looking restaurant on the highway. The host was so warm and kind. Had the hot rice stew and it was . Other dishes looked super appetizing as well. Very very highly recommended.
