Bidra med feedbackWe had my first meal of day after our 6 hours journey from Phnom Penh leaving early on the city. The restaurant is just right in front of Kim Seng Express van service. I ordered sour soup with banana flower and some ginger tea and my fiancee had free refills coffee and some fried noodles with chicken. We got a complimentary dessert as well. I definitely enjoyed it and definitely recommended for those who are traveling to Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri.
We walked in this restaurant randomly, then it becomes our canteen for the next 3 days while we're there! Owner Richard and wife are genuinely nice people, and so does their food home cooking indigenous cuisine. Through Richard's recommendation, we went to hiking with local guide lady Heng. It's the highlight of our trip: feeding elephant and swimming with her in a sacred waterfall that no other tourists come! Definitely recommend anyone looking for true flavor of Mondulkiri to try their food and unique experience.
Delicious, fresh and healthy I had one of the soups and really enjoyed the subtle flavours. Unusual ingredients like forest fern and citronella. Service was attentive and helpful.
Bunong kitchen is a treasure in Sen Monorom. The dishes are typical from the Bunong's indigenous and, thus, different. The owner is just amazing : he explained us everything in the plate, was really kind and likes chatting with the customers. He is made for his job ! It's also a nice place for vegetarians. Let's try it !
Good place that serve tasty grilled beef and cool beer in Mondul Kiri Province.
