This week’s visit was to The Fish Bank, Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. Due to recent press releases and being in the last 40 of the fish and chip shop awards. I requested a lightly battered fish with chips and a normal fish on its own. Well they cant determine the difference so no point requesting lightly battered, they were both exactly the same! Chips really undercooked. The fish was very greasy and evidently wasn’t drained at all. Batter was extremely soggy and wet. The peas and curry were very nice. One of the girls serving needs to curb the attitude with customers too! So disappointed with tonight’s chippy tea I must say. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
