The teachings in agriculture and sustainability are very enriched and bring the classroom experience to life! Thanks to Moo Jesus for everything you do in training.
Great experience Great people Take the time to stop. I will deal with further comments. I don't know these people personally, so my assessment is not biased. My guess is that the owners of the facility won? not even know who wrote this review. They get a lot to do and sometimes it can be hard for them to get to the phone, have a little patience. I don't think a 1-star rating is just on the fact that they were unable to answer their phone at the time, which is a review. They run the facility themselves. They do the work themselves that can be the reason that they were unable to answer the phone. Do not let the people who have 1 star reviews based on this keep you from venting and meet these nice people and enjoy what they offer.
Have heard of this place for a few years and decided to check it. I have placed my order online and within minutes had an email from Gina confirmed my order on pickup the next day. I had a wonderful time to talk to Gina and her husband, and can wait?t to place my next order with them! Everything is so fresh and tasty. I told everyone about this place and I checked it out.
I just learned about Moo Jesus the day before our trip to Austin. I called Gina and then wrote. She doesn't keep her phone on her when we got closer, I called her husband's number. He answered and gave the phone to Gina. She said she was available and she should come over! We had a nice visit with her, her son Moses, and a young lady who was there otherwise. We got our gallon milk and Moses also filled the cooler with ice. Yes, it is $24 for your first gallon (with the $10 bottle deposit), but it is DELICIOUS and you help a wonderful thing. The next time we stop DEFINITELY! I am happy to try their other products!
I texted to confirm that they were open on a day their website said they were open and was told they were closed. They then asked me to place an order, which I did and didn 't hear back until a few days later. (Which is fine it was the weekend) but for a website that stresses the fact that they have no prices and are donation only, their recommended donation is twice what I already pay for raw milk and what I pay at the farmers market for the other items. I had no plans to short change them and was going to donate what I would normally pay Plus the fee for the glass milk bottles. I 'm not comfortable countering with a 'donation ' that I can afford when their recommendation is so high. Milk is $14 a gallon but sold in half gallon jugs that are $5 a piece, so that 's $24 a gallon for your first purchase. (Bottles are reusable do goes down to $14/gal after that). I get that they run a ministry and it costs money but it feels so underhanded to put that your donation only and splash 'NO PRICES! ' across your website only to blind side customers with the highest prices around when we place an order. If you want to charge that much, list it on your website and justify your prices. Explain why it 's worth it. Don 't be underhanded about it. I was so excited to learn about what y 'all do the and to try your products but I 'm so turned off now.
