Bidra med feedbackI was pleasantly surprised by the gluten-free fish and peas meal with four chips that my friend ordered. It was very tasty and worth the 15-minute wait. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant as it was a good find.
Went in for lunch as we fancied traditional fish and chips. Decor was very nice, spacious and airy with easy access for those using mobility scooters or walking aids. Greeted warmly by the staff and told we could sit where we liked, always a bonus. Ordered the lunch special which was Fish, chips, mushy peas and bread and butter along with a pot of tea or coffee. This was for an unbelievable price of £9.95. The food was fantastic and cooked freshly, light crispy batter on a lovely piece of fish and homemade chips, non of your frozen rubbish here. We also ordered a side of curry sauce which was perfect. All in all a very very nice lunch for a brilliant price. We will most definitely return. Thanks to all the staff for making us welcome.
Dreadful; sausage dinner ordered, it cost £6.79. The receipt was for chips sausage gravy no peas. I asked why it cost so much and why there were no peas, they didn’t know what a “dinner” contained from a chippy! Told them to keep my pension money as they needed it more than me. Killing Southport with your profiteering! Never again will I go there.
Very dissatisfied. Re-fried fish and hard chips but the peas were OK. A lot different from last year, when it was lovely. The toilet just one for both sexes was none too clean. Won’t be visiting again
Arrived at 6.45pm,half the restaurant was closed off ,choice of seating limited, entrance door wide open, cold air blowing through.meal arrived ,has we started eating they started mopping the floor disinfectant smell very strong which didn't go to well with our fish and chips,it masked the aroma of the meal, couldn't wait to leave.very disappointing.
