Carl's Kneipe - Seebad Ahlbeck

A cozy place from the tourist center. Good food and nice personal. Recommend everyone who loves seafood.

... the translation of Knipe as a pub does not do this wonderful little restaurant justice. The menu is short, but this is a good sign that the cook concentrates on quality and freshness with a fine taste. The juicy perfectly cooked fish is the star of the meal, but the accompaniments are delicious, simple and creative. Special recommendations for the fish soup and cod with Pesto crust. (There are also meat on the menu, but why not eat fish here on the Baltic Sea coast?!? Oh, and the prices are more reasonable than the flashy places along the main promenade!!! All in all... it is worth finding Carl's place, which is a short distance from the main part of the sea road and best rewarded with fresh fish...

Carls kneipe is really the best restaurant in the city. unspoken mix of Italian and German dishes, for exams cod with pesto or zander with gnocchi very good! Reservation recommended not to find so easy.

Locale molto carino e curato nei dettagli molto molto piccolo 25/30 posti interni e una piccola terrazza con 15 posti circa. Prenotazione obbligatoria causa i pochi posti. Menù nn ricco di proposte (solo in tedesco) prezzi alti,meno di 15€ a piatto trovate ben poco! Positivo è che le porzioni sono buone xcui di cena con una pietanza. Prevalentemente pesce ben cucinato e ben servito, ottimi i sapori e gli abbinamenti. Si vede e si sente che usano materie di prima qualità. Nel complesso una buona cena €25 a testa (1 piatto ed una birra)
