The London Plane - Seattle

Had the plane toast, chicory salad and roasted squash everything was bright and flavorful. Service was outstanding. Bright, happy, welcoming ambiance.

Loved it! Thank you to all the staff and owner who pulled off a great surprise for me this after.

I have really enjoyed London Plane in the past and hope this was just a one-off bad experience. The hostess was warm and prompt but we barely saw our server and nearly had to beg her to take our drink order. She definitely mastered the art of not making eye contact! After we received our food, we didn’t see her again until the check was presented. The baked eggs were quite good but the pork was terrible; super dry and overcooked. Our server did not make any inquiry on the food or drinks and missed the opportunity to fix the experience.

This is one of our favorite special occasion date night restaurants. The atmosphere is so cozy and warm, the staff are all calm and welcoming. Coming here is like eating with family and we’ve never been disappointed. And the food! The creativity from the kitchen allows normal people to be foodies for a night. It really is a joy to spend an evening here.

Had lunch with my friend; shared the acorn squash, muhammara toast, and marinated beets. All were exceptional! Fresh, unique flavors and seasonings. Each bite a culinary adventure! We loved people watching out our window and felt cozy and comfortable in the beautiful old building that holds London Plane. Service was exceptional and friendly. We both loved it so much, we decided it would be perfect to come weekly.
