Bidra med feedbackSaw the good star rating and stopped in for a cappuccino. Servers were prompt and polite. Atmosphere and location were great. I would prefer a slightly lighter roast for the more concentrated espresso drinks, but overall I enjoyed the flavor. Server was confused when I asked for the milk to be steamed to 60 degrees Celsius. Understanding that “modern coffee” strays a bit from tradition, I would still recommend spending 30 minutes to train your new servers on the basic science of properly steaming milk. If you did that and offered 2-3 roast levels on your beans, this would take you solidly into the 5 star territory.
Small coffee shop located at the corner of a downtown office building. Coffee and service were fine, the best thing is the office lobby next door, a grand, tall ceiling, glass window rotunda space with some comfy couches and seats. I'm not sure if the lobby is always open to the public, but I had a great time there enjoying my coffee on a Wednesday afternoon.
Really, really good coffee. Definitely recommend the lavender chai. I appreciated the wide selection of non-dairy milk.
Love their iced latte. Just the right amount of milk and espresso. Service is ok. I feel like other fancy coffee places are more engaged/friendly. Reading the other reviews, I guess they are known for their bad service/attitude.
Cortado was excellent, latte was too, and not-as-caffeine-obsessed travel companion awoke on the last day of the trip just to inquire if they were open Sundays so he could have another mocha before we left Seattle. They are indeed open Sundays. It's worth the walk uphill.
